Some of the questions asked and responses are :

Sir, when I really work hard, I get less marks but surprisingly when I do not work hard I get better marks. Why?
Urmila, Cl 7
Ans- Sometimes our expectations are high and due to examination time even the pressure is high and we tend to become anxious. e.g When Sachin Tendulkar thinks of making a century , he makes zero runs.

Gayatri, Cl7:Why do we have to learn Sanskrit now?
Ans- Sanskrit is the most scientific language of the world. It is our mother language. It is the scientific language of computer also. When we learn Sanskrit our mind becomes very sharp. We even become smart in Mathematics. As your name is Gayatri , you should know the “ Gayatri Mantra”. Early man used to speak in Sanskrit.

Arti, Cl 7: How I will be able to learn quickly?
Ans- Tell your teachers to tell you the lesson in advance. So that you will read it before it is taught in class. And when you will be asked any question in class , the teacher has to appreciate it. This way you will feel that you have learnt the answer and so will be able to learn it quickly.

On 19/12/2008 the girls of Him Jyoti were fortunate to be able to speak to Dr Bharatinder Singh on sports and physical fitness.
Some of the questions are:
Akanksha Bhatt, Cl 9: What are the disadvantages of physical fitness?
Ans- There are no disadvantages of physical fitness. Suppose there are 2 cars in your school. ( car 1 and car 2).We put 10 litres of petrol in both the cars. Car 1 travels 10 km. but car 2 travels only 5 km. So car 1 has more mileage than car 2. So similarly our body is like this. The mileage of one body can be more than the other. But the second car can increase its mileage by exercising.

Q-6 What is the relation between examinations and Yoga?
Ans-
When we do “Pranayam” we get oxygen that goes in our mind and makes it fresh.
Yoga relaxes your body and thus makes you understand the things in a better way.
Yoga relaxes your muscles and channelizes our body.
If you do yoga in between study of 2-3 hour , it enhances your learning capacity.

Importance of Physical fitness in our examinations
We know that when we do physical activities like exercises we become healthy. We should do exercise during examinations also because if we are not healthy we will not be able to give examinations. Exercises keeps our mind healthy and helps us not to become anxious during examinations. Sometimes while answering papers we forget and keep thinking , and then we leave that question. This all happens when we do not keep our body fit , when we do not do exercises or yoga or physical activities. Thus we should do physical activities to keep ourselves fit and fine.
- Gayatri Joshi Class VII
During our examinations we need to keep our self fresh, healthy for that we have to do yoga, exercise and try to understand the importance of physical fitness. During examinations we want our mind to work as fast as we want to and we should be able to learn things quickly. This will be possible when we keep our health fit and fine. For that we need to do exercise every morning.
- Arti Panwar Class VII
Physical fitness in the examination is very necessary for the students. If a person is very healthy, he/ she will be very good in studies, games, and will also be good looking. He will also score good marks and will certainly get a good job because of his skills and healthy mind and body. In case of unhealthy person , he will not be able to concentrate in studies. He would also have problem in getting a good job later in his life. Despite of healthy mind sometimes a person does not get any job because of unhealthy body.
